The United States military used defoliants during the Vietnam War to curtail crop production and to eliminate enemy hiding positions. Approximately 20 million gallons of herbicides were sprayed in Vietnam from 1962 to 1971. The defoliants were referred to by a 4inch color band on the barrels. The most common defoliant sprayed was Agent Orange.
The defoliants were believed to be un-harmful to humans, which has been proven to be false. In 1991 the United States Government started to compensate American Vietnam Veterans for diseases believed to be caused by exposure to Agent Orange.
The documentary illustrates the plight of two American Vietnam Veterans (Richard and Tony) who are dealing with life after being exposed to Agent Orange. The Veterans recount stories of being sprayed on and how they survived one war and now are fighting one last battle. The Battle with Agent Orange.

Disaster by the Bay: The Great San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of 1906, a film by Ken Joy, is destined to be the definitive documentary of the greatest natural disaster ever to hit California. Never-before-seen footage, shot just minutes after the quake struck on April 18, 1906 at 5:13 a.m., combined with thousands of rare and previously unreleased photographs, and recreations of eyewitness accounts written by those who survived the disaster, culminate in this hour-long epic that chronicles the horror, the aftermath, and the heroes who survived it.
Ken Joy's astonishing direction takes us into the heart of the vibrant city that was San Francisco at the turn of the century. The love of the Californian for his State, and the devotion of the San Franciscan to his city, were only intensified by the disaster of April 18, 1906. It is a matter of common observation that hardships and suffering wed people to their native land. Indeed, the fear had been expressed that in a country so fair as California, the people, pampered by luxury and enervated by ease, would ultimately lose the virile qualities of citizenship which makes a nation great. There were indications here and there of the evils which flow from uninterrupted prosperity, but the privations of a few brief months hardened every fiber, and softened every heart.
Astonishing footage and photographs take us beyond the disaster by the bay, and give us a first-hand glimpse of what life was truly like in turn-of-the-century San Francisco.

For many visitors, Liverpool is one giant theme park... and the theme is the Beatles. At least, such is the suggestion of Spencer Leigh, Liverpudlian, Disc Jockey for BBC Radio Merseyside and investigator of the Beatles phenomenon for over forty years. Together with Spencer and Beatles historian Ray O’Brien, we explore over sixty key Beatles sites, including the Cavern Club, and the homes where John, Paul and George were brought up, as well as no less than three houses with associations to Ringo’s childhood. At the same time, we meet on location over twenty personalities who made the Liverpool scene the epicentre of the sixties cultural explosion, including Alan William (the man who gave away the Beatles), Bill Harry (friend of the Beatles, and founder of the immensely influential paper ‘Mersey Beat’), Kingsize Taylor, (the man who brought rock’n’roll into Liverpool), and that’s just for starters. This mammoth five and a half hour program is essential viewing for anyone who was around at the time, and all the others who wish they had been!

"By the time we finish this poker game, there may not be a federal government left! Which would suit me just fine." -Tom DeLay, 1994
In a stunning 1994 interview, shortly after the now infamous Republican revolution, Tom DeLay sat down and laid out his vision for America: to destroy the Department of Education, HUD, OSHA, the NEH, the NEA, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. His self-stated goal was to "completely redesign government."
The Big Buy: Tom DeLay's Stolen Congress is the story of how he did just that. It's the story of one of the most blatant power grabs in American history, and how a District Attorney in Texas turned out to be the biggest threat to the national DeLay Machine. The film is a warning about how easy it is for American democracy to be hijacked by a combination of relentless ambition and corporate millions. It makes the case that DeLay built a "custom-made Congress" that is still providing votes for his agenda.
